<p>CAPLA's AGM is open to all interested in hearing about CAPLA's activities. </p><p>Founded in 1994, CAPLA was officially incorporated in June of 1997 as a non-profit corporation for the advancement of recognition of prior learning (RPL) in Canada. Its mission is to work toward the development of human resource and educational services which are more flexible and responsive to changing needs and circumstances of adults. CAPLA advocates for the formal acknowledgement of lifelong learning experiences so that the acquisition of knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies is valued and recognized in Canada. </p>
