They help us feel seen, supported, and connected—but they can also be a source of frustration, heartache, and, let’s be honest, confusion.How do we make new friends as adults when life feels so busy? And what do we do when friendships start to shift, fade, or no longer feel aligned?At this Good Talk, we’re diving into the messy, beautiful, essential world of friendship—why it matters, how it impacts our well-being, and what we can do to cultivate stronger, more meaningful connections.Join us as we explore questions like:<ul><li>What actually makes a friendship last?</li><li>How do we maintain friendships when life keeps pulling us in different directions?</li><li>What happens when a friendship no longer fits—and how do we navigate that with care?</li><li>How do friendships shape how we show up in our communities, workplaces, and families?</li></ul>We’ve heard from so many of you that friendship is something you’ve been thinking about—so, we’re making space for it. Whether you’re looking to strengthen your current friendships, make new ones, or simply reflect on what friendship means to you, this Good Talk is for you.Come ready for great conversation, new perspectives, and, as always, a space to connect. What's included<ul><li>Some top lessons and strategies on the topic</li><li>Snacks, sweets and non-alcoholic drinks</li><li>Facilitated discussion and networking opportunities with other community leaders, movers and shakers</li><li>A set of conversation cards to support you when reflecting on friendship (on your own or in conversation)</li></ul> What to expectThis immersive, highly-participatory, in-person event will equip you with tangible tools and connect you with others thinking about their leadership practice in the Edmonton area!Doors open at 6:30 for socializing and snacks. Program will start at 7:00.Please note that, while your registration fee is non-refundable, it can be transferred to a future session or gifted to someone else.Please note that we film and take photos during these events so that we can build our Good Talk community and share the magic that happens here. This means that, when you attend this event, you will enter an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur.
