Awareness is needed as well as information about the types and characteristics of deafness, blindness and deafblindness. People also need to know how they can connect with the diversity of people with these conditions.The motivation to disseminate information is due to the invisibility of this population and especially in such a delicate period as we are going through. The COVID-19 pandemic and the new rules of social distancing have brought a number of challenges.The webinar will present the different typologies of deafness/blindness and addresses how, through real experiences, countless negative experiences can be transformed into possible and positive ones. Communication barriers, getting out of the &quot;box&quot; and challenging your senses are relevant issues for the community as a whole. In this webinar we will focus on the need for tools for society to communicate with people with hearing impairment, deafness and deafblindness, in the context of social distancing.
