Diatonische Expeditionen is an Austrian musical group that blends alpine folk music, jazz, pop, classical, and their own compositions.

St. Peter's Lutheran Church

The Austrian trio, “Diatonische Expeditionen,” leads listeners on a musical journey through alpine folk music, jazz, pop, classical, as well as their own compositions. They mix the unique voice of the Styrian button accordion with smooth alto vocals and the full, sparkling ring of a harp. Theresa Lehner, Katharina Baschinger and Alexander Maurer are excited to share a facet of the Austrian musical soul, full of tradition and diversity, and take it to the tremendous cultural variety of America.On a diatonic expedition, tradition meets innovation.
