<h1>Net Impact Presents: Racial Inequity in the Corporate Ecosystem.</h1>Net Impact Schulich is a global, student led organization that is committed to making lasting social and environmental impacts in the corporate ecosystem. We believe in sustainability at Net Impact and we understand that racial injustice is the greatest impediment to a sustainable world. As future business leaders, we have a responsibility to engage in discussions and dialogues which are often uncomfortable, but absolutely essential. We are living in peculiar, uncertain, yet historic times. It is absolutely vital that MBA students in particular, step up to the plate and engage in important discussions that go beyond the performative activism that is plaguing our online social feeds. The Black Lives Matter movement cannot and will not be reduced to a transitory tag-line. We believe allyship is measured by actions, not words.We will be speaking to 6 successful Black leaders and visionaries and will be tackling the racial inequity they have all faced throughout their academic and professional journeys. Topics will include micro-aggressions in the classroom and boardroom, the white-washed corporate hierarchy, and tangible action items that we can all start incorporating into our lives to make real change. This is a chance for us to give a minority group that is often erased at the boardroom table, a moment to speak their stories.We must unlearn our own racial biases and amplify Black voices.
