A TM Day Retreat nourishes your mind and body through extended meditation sessions, rest, knowledge sessions, and gentle Yoga Asanas. The whole day is designed to give you the utmost in relaxation, setting you up to return to your daily activities with renewed energy, vitality, and resilience.TM Day Retreats give you a taste of a Weekend Retreat, where you'll get to experience:<ul><li>Additional rounds of group TM practice.</li><li>Lessons in Maharishi Yoga Asanas and Pranayama breathing exercises, which are designed to complement your TM practice.</li><li>Refreshers and discussion on the fundamentals of TM.</li><li>A delicious and healthy vegetarian lunch with fellow course participants.</li><li>Insightful knowledge sessions, workshops, and discussions.</li></ul>This TM Day Retreat will be led by David Shaw.Whether you want to establish a better routine, accelerate your growth, or fully maximize the benefits of TM in your daily life, even a single day at a Retreat can lead to remarkable breakthroughs in your TM practiceWe hope to see you there!Day Schedule8:00 - 8:15 am Arrival. Please make every effort to be on time.8:15 - 8:30 am Orientation8:30 - 12:00 pm Morning program (includes extra TM meditations, refresher and knowledge, and group meditation)12:00 - 2:00 pm Lunch, Walk &amp; Talk2:00 - 5:30 pm Afternoon program (includes knowledge videos and discussion as well as afternoon TM program)Your course leader will be David Shaw (dshaw@tm.org or 416-938-9411).Course fee:$108 plus taxThe course fee includes the full day of TM and knowledge, plus lunch.Parking:We recommend parking at 79 Wellington St. West. This underground parking lot of the TD Centre South is directly connected to the Fairmont Royal York Hotel. There is a connecting elevator inside the parking lot into the Royal York Hotel mezzanine floor. Then walk to over to the main elevator lobby and come down to the A level (concourse).Parking from 6:00am - 6:00pm is only $12 on weekends.What to wear:Please bring indoor and outdoor clothing.Indoor - casual stretchy/comfy clothing, so it’s easy to practice the asanas ( yoga exercises).Outdoor - clothing suitable for walking outside.What to bring:Please bring a yoga mat or a blanket to lie on; otherwise, you’ll be on the bare carpet.Yoga Asanas:We strongly encourage you to watch a <a href="https://ca.tm.org/meditators/asanas/" title="https://ca.tm.org/meditators/asanas/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Maharishi Yoga Asanas demonstration</a> before the start of the retreat.
