Science & Policy Exchange is a non-profit advocacy group run by graduate students and post-doctoral fellows in Montreal, whose aims are two-fold: (1) to foster the student voice in evidence-based decision making and (2) to bring together leading experts from academia, industry, and government to engage and inform students and the public on issues at the interface of science and policy. Round table discussion on Mental health in graduate students in Québec

**Français suit**Join Science &amp; Policy Exchange - Dialogue sciences et politiques for a policy discussion on Mental Health of Graduate Students. It is an open roundtable discussion to assess the policy landscape associated with mental health in academic institutions in Quebec, analyze different perspectives, compare them to undergrad and then discuss potential policy recommendations. The premise of #SPECafe is simple - We provide some background info to the registered participants to start an open discussion where we can identify key issues, debate current policies, and come up with new ones that could be put in place.We will have a follow up conference with a specialist in this subject on August 4th so stay tuned!All the notes, ideas, comments, &amp; solutions will be assembled into a short report by our team after the event to write a comprehensive report on the subject.
