Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Winter Session - Sydney
Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Fall Session
The Nova Scotia Automobile Dealers Safety Association (NSADSA) is pleased to provide Joint Occupational Health and Safety (JOHS) Committee training for its members.
Who Should Attend? – New JOHS committee members who have not had their initial training, JOHS Committee chairpersons, or committee members who need a refresher course on the responsibilities and roles of the committee.
The fall training will take place in late September and will be delivered via a two-part combination of online modules (6 hrs) and an onsite training session (5.5hrs). The training will cover such topics as
• A JOHS Committee Overview
• Job Safety Analysis
• Workplace Inspection
• Incident/Accident Investigations
All modules will consist of a theory component online and a practical component onsite. The training will be provided by Mr. Mike Doucette, Occupational Health and Educational Services (OHES).All online modules must be completed and verified by OHES prior to attending the onsite training. The classroom portion of the training will run from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM at various locations throughout the province. Listed below are the dates and locations.
