Good Grief! Bereavement Healing Services

This 6-week virtual group provides participants with psychoeducation, counselling, and peer support.

<h2>Support Group for those experiencing Anticipatory Grief</h2><aside></aside><h3><strong>LEARN </strong>to identify the emotions of anticipatory loss</h3><h3><strong>CREATE </strong>space for emotional acceptance</h3><h3><strong>UNDERSTAND </strong>the two "wings" of mindfullness</h3><aside></aside><p>Once/week for 6 weeks: Mondays Oct 19 - Nov 23, 7:30pm - 9:00pm</p><h3>Each week the 1.5-hour session focuses on a theme that is introduced at the start of the session:</h3><ul><li>WEEK 1 – UNDERSTANDING ANTICIPATORY GRIEF</li><li>WEEK 2 – SELF CARE AND COPING BETTER</li><li>WEEK 3 – SELF CARE AND COPING BETTER II</li><li>WEEK 4 – MEETING OUR GRIEF WITH SELF-COMPASSION</li><li>WEEK 5 – CREATING PURPOSEFUL GRIEF</li><li>WEEK 6 – USING GRIEF TO EXPAND AND CONNECT </li></ul><p>_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________</p><h3><em>This program is brought to you by </em><a href="https://goodgriefhealing.ca/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"><em>Good Grief! <p><strong>Mark Weitz, MSW</strong>, is a licensed social worker with 17 years of clinical practice involving individual counselling for adults and seniors, caregiving counselling and health navigation.  His goal as a psychotherapist is to provide the means to positively change mood, increase resilience and develop greater coping skills.</p>

<p><strong>Eileen Jadd, MA, RSW</strong>, has been working for community service organizations in Toronto, both professionally and as a volunteer for over 25 years.  Having obtained her certificate in Bereavement Education from the University of Toronto Social Work Continuing Education Department, Eileen began her new role as a Bereavement Educator and has been focusing her skills in assisting the underserved grief-stricken population of the GTA.</p>
