<h3>Understanding the impact of alcohol on women's health gives clarity to decisions re: hormone therapy, sleep &amp; known cancer risks.</h3> This is going to be an IMPORTANT conversation about RISK...true risk...and your risk...as it relates to our health and key health descisions regarding hormone therapy, sleep and even what we know about women's cancer.We will highlight the NEW alcohol guidelines for women from both Canada (2023) and the USA (2025) and help you discern...and (UN) learn some of the social contructs around alcohol.I'll also share some sobering decisions I've made personally over the last two years. It's sometimes an exercise of how our thoughts sometimes get in the way...until we can understand the data.

In many ways, efforts to crack open the menopause conversation have only perpetuated long-standing myths, misinformation and stereotypes about women’s health.Shirley is a three-time author, a TedX speaker, a media spokesperson, and advocates for more midlife health education in workplaces such as Vichy Laboratoires, Astellas, Organon, Canadian Tire, and The London Stock Exchange.
