The CSU was established in 1979 to protect the best interests of Concordia’s 30,000+ undergrads, as well as their rights both as students and citizens. In addition to facilitating the undergraduate health insurance plan, we also provide essential services including the Advocacy Centre, Housing & Job Bank, Legal Information Clinic, Daycare, and Hive Free Lunch. Each year we organize social justice campaigns which aim to inspire our members into action, and, we’re home to more than 100 student-run Clubs.

<p>Have you recently received a rental increase notice and don’t know what to do? Do you want to refuse or negotiate a lower amount, but don’t know how? Do you want to know more about rental increases in Quebec and the options you have as a tenant?</p><p>Join us for the ‘Refusing your Rental Increase Workshop' to learn more about rent increases in Montreal, and how to exercise your right to refuse a rent increase. We will cover all of the essential information, including how to calculate a reasonable rent increase and how to open negotiations with your landlord.</p>
