Note: This event is part of a series. <a href="https://www.ecuad.ca/calendar/edi-listening-sessions" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">View the full schedule of listening sessions</a>, including sessions with students, people with disabilities, and those who identify as LGBTQ2S+ or BIPOC. <blockquote></blockquote><blockquote></blockquote><h3>How can we create a more inclusive university? </h3>Students, staff and faculty are invited to join ECU President Gillian Siddall in a series of listening sessions on equity, diversity and inclusion. These online meetings will provide opportunities to give feedback on the university’s <a href="http://www.ecuad.ca/edi/action-plan" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">EDI Action Plan</a>, share your experiences with racism and discrimination, and talk about how we want to move forward as a community.Everyone is encouraged to participate. Each listening session will include up to 10 participants who will be joined by President Siddall and one other member of our senior leadership team on Zoom.Some sessions are open to anyone in our community, while others are for members of specific groups, including students, people with disabilities, and those who identify as LGBTQ2S+ or BIPOC.<a href="http://www.ecuad.ca/calendar/edi-listening-sessions" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">View the full schedule of listening sessions on the ECU website.</a>The listening sessions will run through the middle of November. Additional session will be added if there is interest.
