Exploring Biodiversity - March Break Fun!

Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Ontario Power Generation's visitor centre showcases the history of the St. Lawrence Seaway and Power Project as well as the communities and people affected, and great biodiversity stories like the American Eel. Come explore our exciting and informative interactive displays that make our visitor centre a key tourist destination in the Cornwall area.

Join the River Institute at the OPG Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre for a fun, FREE event to learn about local biodiversity.

Exploring Biodiversity with the River Institute and OPGJoin the <a href="http://www.riverinstitute.ca" title="http://www.riverinstitute.ca" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">River Institute</a> at the OPG Saunders Hydro Dam Visitor Centre for a fun event to learn about local biodiversity. River Institute Educators will provide guided nature walks outside where guests can identify birds and look for animal tracks. Binoculars and field guides are available for participants. Inside the centre there will be the opportunity to learn how to identify different animals from bones. Participants can also use microscopes to try and identify aquatic invertebrates to learn about their diversity.Recommended for all ages.
