Join us for a full-day conference honouring the life of James Wheeler Davidson, an explorer, journalist, diplomat, and Rotary ambassador.

University of Calgary

Through various fascinating presentations, we will learn about his experiences as a member of the Peary expedition to Greenland, his work as a war correspondent and diplomat during the Japanese takeover of the short-lived Republic of Formosa, and his legacy as a businessman in Calgary. We will also learn about his efforts to internationalize Rotary by helping to found Rotary clubs spanning the world. Your event ticket includes lunch at the University of Calgary.
