The Forgein Resort - A mix of dark new-wave &amp; explosive post-punk Since their formation in Copenhagen back in 2009, The Foreign Resort has dedicated themselves for over a decade to refining a sound that explodes with the raw energy of post-punk and delves into sombre shades of melancholy. Their work stands out for its richness and excitement, embodying moods both light and dark, and imbued with emotional depth with an immediate impact. (<a href="http://post-punk.com/" title="http://post-punk.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">post-punk.com</a>) The Foreign Resort have toured relentlessly, addicted to the allure of America’s lost highways, sharing bills with bands like Cold Cave, Killing Joke, The Soft Moon, She Past Away and many more. Since 2010, the band has been rigorous in playing more than 600 shows across North America and Europe with performances at several festivals incl. SXSW, Iceland Airwaves, Canadian Music Week, POP Montreal, Nocturnal Culture Night, Wave Gotik Treffen and W-Fest. The trio released the full length “Outnumbered” in 2019, "The Rabbit Hole" EP in 2020 and "OutRemixed" in 2021. The band's latest singles "Resound" and "Southern Skies" from their forthcoming album were released in March and September 2024 on Artoffact Records. Girlfriends and Boyfriends - Since 2009, Vancouver’s Girlfriends and Boyfriends have been forging a formidable footprint, fusing post-punk, electroclash, New Wave, and dance-punk into a distinctive, dedicated sound that echoes the anthems of vinyl and cassette eras. Real Kevin - Three piece garage band from Niagara. Taken influence from the 90's indie, grunge, post punk and garage rock. Stirring it up as they bring all the power and passion to the stage. Leaving audiences wanting more, More Nostaglic and New music. Garage rock bands seem to come and go, but Real Kevin puts on the kind of show that makes you say "Damn, those guys were great" "Cicada Fest Team"
