The Boathouse are a yacht-rock influenced quartet from Toronto, Canada. Their glossy vocal harmonies, powerful arrangements, and memorable choruses are reminiscent of classic 70s and 80s hit makers like Steely Dan, Hall &amp; Oates and Toto. The create a heady mixture of the smooth rock sounds they love with a dystopian and absurdist lyrical approach. The band features Ryan Farley on guitars and vocals (Oscar Tango, Maya Killtron), Yamaha Artist Josh Trager on drums (Sam Roberts Band, Mahogany Rush), TristanArmstrong on bass and vocals (The Actual Goners, Stars Algonquin) and Vincent Spilchuk on keys and vocals (Dragonette, Bedouin Soundclash).

Lisa Krystina (Lisa Lorenz) is no stranger in the Canadian music scene. Spending thebetter part of the last decade as a keyboardist and backup vocalist playing in amultitude of acts, (most notably Fast Romantics and Deforesters), the studio andstage are familiar landscapes. Countless hours and kms logged with bands as a touringmusician (like Great Lake Swimmers) have reinforced a deep love of connecting withlive audiences and living moment-to-moment on the road. While playing in otherpeople’s bands and writing her own songs quietly, by osmosis has learned a lot and isnow ready to carve out her own niche as a songwriter and performer. With a few singlesalready available (Stay, Ageless and The Good Land), a full-length release, and moreshows with her band, are on the horizon.
