We are living through a particularly difficult period! It reminds us of the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, when organizations had to demonstrate agility, strategy, and speed. At that time, we were already talking about the need to pivot. Some companies managed to adapt, while others did not survive.Today, the world is once again facing unprecedented changes. We are no longer talking about the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity) world, but rather the BANI world – Brittle, Anxious, Non-Linear, Incomprehensible. The pain is palpable among many organizations, desperately seeking ways to navigate this new reality.Our speakers Caroline Samne and Anne Pertus, from the Pillars, and Veronica Marquez, from Aristeío, will explore how your values and actions can be key elements not only to survive this crisis but also to overcome it. Together, they will share concrete approaches and practical strategies to help leaders face current challenges.

As co-founder of The Pillars, Caroline is passionate about equipping leaders with the skills they need to foster a human, change-enabled culture within their company. She is driven by a vision where all workplaces encourage people to thrive and become their best selves.&nbsp;&nbsp;A big believer in social responsibility and giving back, Caroline is on the Board of Amcal Family Services. She mentors young women just starting their careers as well as those trying to set a path for themselves after completing their studies.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;An advocate of education and as a a life-long learner herself, Caroline has been teaching part-time in the faculty of Applied Human Sciences at Concordia University since 2002.&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-pertus-129287/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/anne-pertus-129287/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Anne Pertus </a>Anne is passionate about co-creating solutions with people in building human working environments. Imagine that everyday is filled with joy, satisfaction of your contribution towards a well defined purpose and achieving your goals while living your values. All this aligned with the vision, values and objectives of the organization.&nbsp;&nbsp;Experience with small to large national organizations, Anne has learned the best and the worst of various working environments and felt that something different had to be practiced and lived. Anne often proclaims: ‘’since we spend most of our lives in the workplace, why not enjoy and be fulfilled and not solely be there for a pay check. Do we go to work jazzed for the day ahead? If not, why not?’’ Anne assists clients in exploring, identifying and building on their strengths and reflect on what is needed to build a human working environment.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/veronicabm/" title="https://www.linkedin.com/in/veronicabm/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Veronica Marquez</a>Strong with more than 20 years of experience in industry, Veronica is a compassionate consultant and advisor. Founder of <a href="https://www.aristeio.com/" title="https://www.aristeio.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Aristeío consulting</a>, she works with organizations to help them through their growing pains to create a unified, adaptable team that can anticipate challenges and deliver results. She is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt with ASQ, holds a Master of Operations Management and a bachelor’s degree in political science.&nbsp;&nbsp;Being an avid learner, she believes in sharing her acquired expertise with younger generations and as such has been teaching at the UQAM’s ESG since 2022. This fall, she begins another teaching engagement at Schulich ExecEd, Schulich School of Business, York University where she will be teaching Lean Six Sigma.&nbsp;
