What levels of training do you offer?

We offer three levels of DJ training to help you progress from beginner to pro:
✅ Beginners Course – Covers the fundamentals of DJing, including gear setup, beatmatching, and mixing basics.
✅ Intermediate Course – Builds on beginner skills, teaching advanced mixing, EQing, and creative transitions.

Is this course for absolute beginners?

Yes! Our Beginners Course is designed for those with little to no experience. You don’t need to own any DJ equipment—just bring your enthusiasm, and we’ll teach you everything from the ground up.

Question 3

What will I learn in the Beginners Course?

Accepted Answer

Over three sessions (6 hours total), you’ll learn:
? How to set up DJ gear & a PA system
? Understanding beats, BPMs & music structure
? Hands-on practice with mixing & transitions

By the end of the course, you'll be able to mix tracks confidently and understand the basics of DJing.

Question 4

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Accepted Answer

Nope! We provide industry-standard DJ gear, including mixers, turntables, and controllers, so you can learn on professional equipment. However, if you have your own DJ setup, feel free to bring it for hands-on practice.

Where do the classes take place?

Accepted Answer

The classes are held at  Pandora's Box Rehearsal Studio's, a fully equipped space designed for hands-on DJ training.

How much does the course cost?

The Beginners Course is $400 for all three sessions. This covers:
✅ 6 hours of training
✅ Hands-on practice with pro DJ gear
✅ Small class sizes for personalized instruction

How do I register?

You can register online through our Eventbrite page. Spots are limited, so we recommend signing up as soon as possible!

Question 8

Can I continue to the Intermediate or Advanced courses after this?

Accepted Answer

Yes! After completing the Beginners Course, you can advance to the Intermediate Course, where we dive deeper into mixing techniques and creative transitions. From there, you can move to the Advanced Course to refine your skills and prepare for live performances.

Who teaches the course?

The course is led by Kory from Pacific Sound Entertainment, a professional DJ with years of experience in weddings, club events, and music festivals. You’ll be learning from an expert who has been rocking dance floors for years!
