THIS IS A FREE HYBRID EVENT HOSTED BY THE EQUAL PAY COALITION. EQUAL PAY DAY IS THURSDAY 10 APRIL 2025! Join the Equal Pay Coalition for our free lunch &amp; learn.You can attend either in-person or online! We'll be in-person at the Centre for Social Innovation, 192 Spadina Ave., Toronto and on Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out a couple of days before the event. Hear from leading economist Armine Yalnizyan as she breaks down this economic moment and how it affects women.We'll also have presentations from women working on the front lines in different sectors affected by the tariffs in both the private and public sectors<ul><li>Nicole Hamilton, an autoworker and member of Unifor</li><li>Caroly Ferns from the Ontario Coalition for Better Childcare and</li><li>Debra Maxfield, Sector Chair of CUPE's Healthcare Workers</li></ul>And we'll have an organizing workshop with Pam Frache from Justice for Workers to give you tools to help organize in your community.
