This course preview will provide you with a basic understanding of high performance home principles and will cover: · High performance home definition, myths, and benefits · Relevant building science principles · Relevant codes and high performance standards · Canada’s future energy goals and how high performance homes can help us get there This preview was presented in 2 sessions during Buildings Week. The recordings for both of these sessions can be found on the Online Event Page for you to access anytime until the end of 2020.SAIT will be launching the full online “Introduction to High Performance Homes” course in February 2021 as part of their High Performance Residential Design and Construction Program which has been developed through funding from Alberta Innovates.
