Immigrating to a new country is no small feat; adjusting to a new culture, settling into your community and building connections is tough. Finding work can be especially challenging, particularly when you're not familiar with the hiring norms and processes in your new home country.This event is for all immigrant job seekers in Metro Vancouver, who are looking for advice and inspiration in their job search. You'll hear from Araz Rismani, Manager of a WorkBC Centre, who immigrated to BC from Iran in 2004. He'll share with us how he navigated his journey to employment in Vancouver, from working at a grocery store to running a successful business while managing teams of up to 50 at the WorkBC Centres.You'll also learn about the supports and resources available to immigrants in BC to help them find work, and get the chance to ask Araz any questions you might have in a Q&amp;A portion at the end of the event.Register now!
