Building Business Resiliency

Having a website is only step one. Owning it and making it an important part of your business is step 2.

This session will start by exploring the opportunities your business may be missing because of the evolution of Google as a search engine. This will lead into a discussion regarding the potential that every website has and how to protect that potential with a sound strategy and proper maintenance. David will also explore the perils and pitfalls of the unregulated industry we have come to refer to as, digital marketing, website design and development.
By the end of this session you will be armed with an action plan that, if implemented, will help you to compete online! 
About David A. West,

David A. West is that rare breed of speaker who comes from a technical background, but doesn’t sound like it. In fact, he prides himself on adding a healthy dose of humour and entertainment to every keynote, breakout, and training series he gives. As he tells it, there is a lot for business owners and managers to learn, but that doesn’t mean you have to “speak geek” to teach them. Some of David's clients include the Gordon Food Services, Alberta Government, Think Local, Professional Home Builders Institute, and the Calgary Board of Education Staff Association.
