Building Business Resiliency

Selling online is not for the faint of heart but may be a hurdle you should consider!

The allure of selling products and services online is exciting! This session will help you to prepare for the implementation of an ecommerce strategy. David will address the benefits, the process and the risks you will encounter as you develop your online sales site. We will explore the fundamentals of getting an ecommerce store, how to manage it and how to drive relevant visitors to it. 

We will discuss free, nearly free and other ecommerce solutions that make it relatively easy for small businesses to try ecommerce without breaking the bank. 

While not compulsory, participants would benefit greatly by participating in Session 1 - Website Ownership as well. 
About David A. West,David A. West is that rare breed of speaker who comes from a technical background, but doesn’t sound like it. In fact, he prides himself on adding a healthy dose of humour and entertainment to every keynote, breakout, and training series he gives. As he tells it, there is a lot for business owners and managers to learn, but that doesn’t mean you have to “speak geek” to teach them. Some of David's clients include the Gordon Food Services, Alberta Government, Think Local, Professional Home Builders Institute, and the Calgary Board of Education Staff Association.
