How do you choose which books to read?

Everyone has their chance to recommend a book. Each person writes their recommendation on a piece of paper at the end of each meet up, and we pick one randomly out of a bowl.

Do you read any particular genres?

Nope! We've read pretty much every genre. We've read self help, historical fiction, fiction novels, classics, mystery/thrillers, horror, fantasy and everything in between. To see all the books we've read, check out the gallery at the bottom of the book club page on storyunlocked.com.

What's included in the cost of the ticket?

Accepted Answer

Every meet-up light snacks, wine and tea are provided. The cost also helps me (Erin) keep the website and email newsletters up and running. It takes a lot of time (& love) to organize and host this book club. I wish I could do it for free, but unfortunately this is the lowest I can bring the cost.

What is Story Unlocked?

My full-time profession is as a Digital Marketer. I currently work for an agency called WSI Digital Direction. Before I started working for the agency, I worked full-time as a freelance marketer. Story Unlocked is the business name for that brand. I still do some freelance jobs here and there.
