It's more important than ever to have sound, accessible and digital accounting practices to ensure the resiliency of your small business. 

Please note: The value of this service is approximately $300, but is complimentary to small business owners in Oxford County. Your registration fee of $25 will be returned to you once you complete the working session and 90-minute mentoring appointment. Registration is limited.Your registration also includes the 60 minute working session and a 1:1 follow up appointment (for up to 90 minutes) with a CPA. The cost of these business services are covered by Community Futures Oxford and made possible with funding from FedDev Ontario.This working seminar is designed to help you understand the basics of cloud accounting, the benefits of going digital and how to get started. This session is lead by a chartered professional accountant and bookkeeper who will help you understand the following.•	Cloud accounting basics : how it works and the differences between web-based software and desktop software•	How to adapt/understand your accounting to deal with (and minimize) the effects of COVID-19 on your business•	How to adapt your payroll changes and ensure best practices, especially for those who have accessed government funding programs such as wage subsidiesThis session is delivered by Allison Biggar, CPA, CGA at MW&amp; Co.
