Get ready for the 2nd Annual 'Music in the Forest' - a day filled with live music, nature vibes, and good times under the trees!

Welcome to our 2nd Annual - 'Music in the Forest' Event!Join us for an afternoon of live music in the forest at Tiny Forest Academy! Featuring Pete Moss, and Land Heart Song! With special guest (and TFA Mentor!) Lacie Marchand! About the artists:<ul><li>Toronto musician and outdoor educator Pete Moss has been connecting children with nature for a decade. His albums Plants Rock (2019) &amp; Birds Rock (2021) are a tribute to the magic of plants &amp; birds in your neighbourhood. With a playful folk-pop style and creative storytelling, these songs inspire care and curiosity towards the natural world. <a href="https://www.petemossmusic.com/" title="https://www.petemossmusic.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.petemossmusic.com/ </a></li><li>Land Heart Song is Tiiu Strutt, a songwriter and educator passionate about singing songs that support families in nurturing their love for nature. Land Heart Song’s performances spark wonder and joy, inspiring everyone in the family to sing along and deepen their relationship with the natural world. <a href="https://landheartsong.com/" title="https://landheartsong.com/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://landheartsong.com/ </a></li><li>When not performing on her primary instrument, the saxophone, Lacie Marchand can be found singing and playing guitar at markets, for community groups, song circles and of course, our students at Tiny Forest Academy. As a parent of 2 vibrant tiny humans (6 years and 3 years) and with a passion for the outdoors, she specializes in children’s music with a theme of the natural world. <a href="https://www.laciemarchand.com/musician" title="https://www.laciemarchand.com/musician" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.laciemarchand.com/musician</a></li></ul> In preparing for the event, please dress for the weather, bring your favourite mug, a comfy chair or blanket, and a willingness to dance! Kids (and adults!)will get a chance to actively participate in all 3 perfromances shoudl they want to! We will have the following food items available by cash donation going directly towards our Tution Support Program: Warm chaga tea, hot dogs, s'mores, apples for roasting, and popcorn bags! We will also have some creative stations set up for the kiddos, including flower crowns and more! Tickets are $45/carload, so fill your car! After registerng, please send an e-transfer to info@tinyforestacademy.ca. Spaces limited to 35 cars! Thank you!
