Join the Invasive Species Council of BC to learn about invasive plants and animals that could be lurking in your backyard! Use your detective skills during this interactive presentation where you will learn how to identify three common invasive species and learn simple ways that you can help prevent the spread of invasive plants and animals.During the presentation, children will learn about three invasive plant and animal species. We will also define invasive, introduced and native species and share ways that the students can prevent the spread of invasive species. This virtual program is suitable for families with children ages 6 and up.Please consider adding a donation so that the Ecology Centre can continue running our online programs this year!Register and receive the zoom link 2 hours prior to the program. Please ensure you've reserved only one ticket per device. For example: A family with 2 people on a laptop in the kitchen and 3 people on an ipad in the living room would require 2 tickets.If you are a teacher, please call us to book an interactive fieldtrip for your class 604-990-3755.
