We're excited to have Mike Mckoy back as our dance instructor &amp; co-host - if you've been to Soluna for their Latin nights on Wed evenings - then you already know the energy he brings to the event!!</h3> Join our Friday evening event to meet other Toronto singles and also take a 1 hr salsa dance class together! Learn the basic salsa footwork and simple salsa turns and combinations. <h4>The lesson is perfect for beginners but suitable for all levels / genders! No previous dance experience required. <h3> FAQ’s:</h3>Who should join? What if I've never danced or taken lessons?<ul><li>If you're tired standard speed dating events, try something different and join us!</li><li>If you're interested in Latin dance, learning a new skill, or looking to make new friends - this is the event for you!</li></ul>The dance portion is only 1 hour and is perfect for all levels, but geared for beginners.What is the salsa dance lesson like? What can I expect?<ul><li>We will do a quick warm up and then teach the basic salsa steps</li><li>You will first learn the basics to dance individually first, and then we will partner up to learn the partnerwork basic steps/combos and rotate partners throughout the lesson so you get practice with different people</li><li>This partner rotation is the reason why you don't need to bring a partner and is the fun way to meet with other singles!</li></ul>

What do I need?<ul><li>Apparel - dress up like you're going to a dance party and be date-ready!</li><li>Flat shoes - something you feel comfortable to dance in! If you have actual dance shoes, that's perfect but not required.</li></ul>Pricing:There are limited tickets and striving for 50/50 male:female attendance. Typically drop-in dance classes cost $15-$25 and other singles events charge anywhere from $30-$50 and don't include a lesson! It is strongly encouraged to purchase tickets in advance as we often sell out! Drop in rate is $50 (cash or etransfers only) - IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT (please contact the organizer first).NO REFUNDS will be issued should you change your mind or you can no longer make the event for whatever the reason (<a href="https://youtu.be/-a0qWAc4A1k" title="https://youtu.be/-a0qWAc4A1k" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">review why we don't offer refunds</a>). The ticket includes a $20 deposit which will be deducted from your credit amount should you NOT be able to attend the original date. NO credit will be offered if you cancel within the same day of the event or for no shows.

About the Guest Instructor - Mike Mckoy:Mike Mckoy enjoys making people feel welcome at events. He loves hosting &amp; teaching and has been doing it for 8yrs. Mike has taught salsa classes internationally &amp; across the country, he has hosted Latin nights, games nights, singles mixers and he excited to be partnering with Toronto dating hub for upcoming events

She took her passion &amp; experience and channeled it in her business venture - starting <a href="https://linktr.ee/torontodatinghub" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Toronto Dating Hub</a> in May 2020 during the pandemic.
