EN:The Spur Change program is a 5-year initiative of the Inter-Council Network (ICN), funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC), aiming to increase the effectiveness of SMOs to deliver sustainable results in support of the Feminist International Assistance Policy and the Sustainable Development Goals; support educators in engaging school communities on global issues; and foster youth action on the Sustainable Development Goals. The Inter-Council Network is a coalition of the eight Provincial and Regional Councils for International Cooperation, committed to global social justice and social change.FR:Le programme Activer le changement est une initiative quinquennale, financée par Affaires Mondiales Canada, qui vise à: accroître l’efficacité des petites et moyennes organisations canadiennes pour l’atteinte de résultats de développement durables en appui à la Politique d’aide internationale féministe et aux objectifs de développement durable des Nations Unies ; soutenir les enseignant(e)s à faire participer les communautés scolaires aux problèmes mondiaux ; renforcer l’engagement des jeunes envers les objectifs de développement durable. ~le français suit~ What is this workshop about?This intensive two-day workshop, organized by Spur Change in collaboration with the Ontario Council for International Cooperation (OCIC), will be a practical, hands-on experience for participants to dive into trends and opportunities in fundraising, equity-centred fundraising principles.In the end, you will leave with practical ideas, new international cooperation friends and more enthusiasm, skills and tools for ensuring your resource mobilization is easy, empowering and impactful. 📚 Learning OutcomesThe goal of this workshop is to build participants’ knowledge of and capacity to effectively and ethically respond to critical trends and approaches in fundraising strategies, including the integration of equity-centred fundraising principles.
