Recognized as a Good Food Organization through Community Food Centres Canada, Anti-Hunger Coalition Timmins (ACT) is a grassroots volunteer-driven, charitable organization. ACT is committed to increasing access to local, healthy and affordable food; facilitating education and skill-building related to community food matters; fostering community relationships that offer creative solutions to local food issues; and addressing gaps that prevent Timmins from being a food secure community.

<h2>Muffin Monday - Workshop for Kids</h2>Come join us for a fun-filled workshop where kids can learn to bake delicious muffins! This in-person event will be held at 187 Cedar St S. Let your little ones unleash their creativity and taste the sweet success of their baking skills. We will be giving muffins out to vulnerable clients every Wednesday, sponsored by the United Way. Not only are kids learning valuable skills but they are also giving back to the community!
