You are warmly invited to the opening of Si-Gaah, a solo exhibition by Pendar Pazargadi, running from June 20 to July 5, 2025.This exhibition presents eleven staged photographs by Pendar Pazargadi, each inspired by selected verses from Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh: The Epic of the Persian Kings. Blending fine art photography with the richness of Persian literary tradition, these works reinterpret the emotional and symbolic depth of the Shahnameh through a contemporary lens.Influenced by Jeff Wall’s conceptual approach and years of immersive Shahnameh study, each image is crafted like a cinematic scene—meticulously designed with sets, lighting, costumes, and symbolic detail.
