<p>The tour is drawn from the 1895 article “The Lost Man” by Frederick Irland, which described the arrival of a strange hermit in the Dungarvon woods and suggested a connection to earlier attacks on locals, including George Scott, and Bill Carson. This unique narrative offers a fresh perspective on the Whooper legend, providing a compelling new angle for participants to explore. </p>
