The Whysmen community is comprised of men committed to being the change they want to see in the world.

What sets the Whysmen Pub apart from other men's groups is our unique youth outreach initiative, and we invite you to be a part of it.

This initiative fosters inter-generational conversations via Zoom, connecting young men from Nairobi, Kenya, with older mentors worldwide. Together, we focus on mentorship and support.

The media often highlights a narrative of a lost generation of young men. So, how can you contribute to a solution in a world filled with disillusioned youth? How can you, as a man, make a difference?

It starts with a simple act of support. By joining us, you will help a group of young men realize their dream of creating a better environment for their children.

You can register today by requesting a free ticket. Our meetings take place every two weeks and are open to all, so feel free to join whenever you can.

The Kenyan youth initiative is called "Starifik." These young men—artists and creatives—meet biweekly on Zoom with the Whysmen to share their experiences and be heard. Their aspiration is to establish a community center in the Mathare slum, where they reside.

Rather than fleeing from their challenges, they have chosen to stay and fight, aiming to create a safe haven for young Kenyans—a refuge from the pervasive issues of drugs and crime in their environment.

THE WHYSMEN PUBS

The Whysmen Virtual Pub also hosts traditional men’s gatherings each week at various times in small, confidential sharing circles. Additionally, we organize events facilitated by guest leaders who explore a range of themes relevant to modern men. These discussions extend beyond our regular Pub sessions, offering fresh perspectives and deeper engagement.

We hold several weekly gatherings, and you’re welcome to join as many as fit your schedule. In fact, we encourage you to explore all aspects of the Pub to connect with as many members of our community as possible.

Meetings are typically 60 to 90 minutes long, depending on the format, and all are drop-in and free.
