Come celebrate FYI's 30th Anniversary & International Youth Day with us – it's going to be an epic party!

Welcome to FYI's 30th Anniversary &amp; International Youth Day Celebration! Join us and celebrate three decades of community impact with a free, family-friendly event marking its 30th Anniversary and International Youth Day on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at its Keele Community Hub. The celebration will honour FYI’s legacy of supporting thousands of Black, racialized, and newcomer youth in Toronto’s York South-Weston and Oakwood-Vaughan neighbourhoods with a vibrant afternoon of music, food, cultural performances, games, and youth award presentations. The event is open to all and is expected to bring together more than 400 community members, alumni, youth, and local leaders. Sponsor the event as a local business or community partner (sponsorships range from $500 to $2,500) email: anne@foryouth.ca for more information.As part of the celebration, we are also hosting a Back-to-School Essentials Drive, with a goal to collect 200+ teen-friendly backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene kits for youth preparing to return to school this fall.
