JJ Dance Arts presentsAny One Else: a curated collection of original dance films.Join us for the premiere of original works — the culminating presentation of the program’s Term 3 curriculum, Dance on Film. These films were conceived, choreographed, directed, and edited by the program’s emerging artists, in collaboration with celebrated professionals. Contributions include choreography by Amanda May Wilson, Jade Joan Whitney, and JJ Moore, direction by Matthew Eastman, cinematography by Viktor Cahoj, and mentorship by assistant director Dila Dokuzoglu and editor Cameron Nixdorf.The evening will also include the premiere of a short documentary by Karolina Lewy, a director in the Sheridan College Film Program. Her film offers an intimate look at Light Heavy Light — JJ Dance Arts’ annual live production — and its meaningful partnership with The Lighthouse for Grieving Children.
