GEL Lecture 4 - Engineering Leadership in Sustainability

The program features a dynamic mix of lectures, workshops, and special events that explore various engineering leadership topics. These workshops are offered through Fall and Winter semesters and are open to all undergraduate and graduate students.Students who attend at least 4 out of 8 sessions will receive a Leadership Certificate from the College of Engineering in recognition of their participation. To qualify, students must complete the Feedback Form for each session they attend.

We are living in a defining moment - climate change is one of the most urgent challenges we face. As engineers, we hold both the responsibility and the opportunity to help shape a more sustainable world. All engineers have a role to play in addressing climate change and enabling a sustainable future, not just those with a traditional environmental-leaning discipline. Whether you work in technology, infrastructure, policy, education, human behaviour, etc., every engineer has a role to play in fostering meaningful climate action.
