Armchair Series Presentation: A Running Passion with Clay Williams

Clay’s running career started 16 years ago when he was living in South Carolina. He was in his mid-forties and decided that he wanted to “get in shape”. He immediately fell in love with the sport and went through what he calls a logical progression of events that eventually led him to organize a 785 km solo run to Ottawa and a 4300 km relay run from Peterborough to central Mexico. Clay will be talking about some of the joys and struggles he has experienced along the way, as well as some of the things he has learned during his running adventures.

Armchair Adventure Series 2021 in support of KidsAbility will be held online this year. There is no charge for these presentations; donations to KidsAbility are welcome. All Proceeds go directly to KidsAbility minus a small percentage going to the donation platform. Donations can be made at anytime until Thursday, April 29th at 11:59:59PM (Eastern Time).KidsAbility provides rehabilitation services to children from Waterloo Region and Guelph Wellington from birth to school exit.
