What is your refund policy?

You can get a refund up to 1 day before the event. Please request the refund via Eventbrite if you will not be attending as we almost always have a waitlist of people eager to attend.

Can I bring a friend?

Yes, of course! Each ticket = spot for one person. Please share the event with your friend so they can secure and manage their own attendance.

Will there be food or drinks?

This edition of the book club will be potluck style! Nooroongji will provide a beautiful spread of blankets on the grass, with cushions, candles, decor, and some noshables to get the party started. In consideration for the environment, we encourage you to bring your own plate, utensil, cup, or mug.

Do I have to purchase the book from Nooroongji?

Accepted Answer

No, but if you show your book club registration at our checkout counter you will receive 10% off the book. We encourage you to support other indie bookstores, or the public library, to obtain your copy.

Does it count if I listened to the book on audio, or read it in a different language?

Absolutely. You are most welcome to join us.

Can I come even if I haven't read the book?

Accepted Answer

Reading is highly recommended! You can do it! We've found our discussions most enriching when everyone has read or at least made good progress on the books we read.

Is there an age limit?

Accepted Answer

Not a hard rule, but this is an adult oriented group. We will be discussing adult topics and sharing food and alcoholic drinks in this session.

I want to save my spot for future months—can I know what books we'll be reading in advance?

Hang tight! We will announce the following month's book after each meeting.

I'm here and can't find you.

Look for a big group of people on the grass near the entrance to Kits pool. Message the groupchat if you're lost!
