Join us for the Peterborough Community Legal Centre's AGM, with a special guest from the Advocacy Centre for Tenant's Ontario.

On August 26, 2025, the Peterborough Community Legal Centre will be holding their Annual General Meeting. We welcome special guest, Scott Baird, from the Advocacy Centre for Tenant's Ontario who will be presenting "Fair Rent Ontario: Uniting Communities across Ontario for Stables Homes and Secure Futures". Join us to learn about the need for rent control in Ontario.Scott Baird is the Community Engagement Coordinator at the Advocacy Centre for Tenants Ontario (ACTO). For over 5 years, Scott has spearheaded support and solutions for tenant rights and affordable housing with groups across Ontario and Canada. Today he primarily serves as the campaign organizer for ACTO’s law reform initiative Fair Rent Ontario: A cross-sectoral coalition advocating for full rent control. Through his work at FRO, he is dedicated to creating stable homes and secure futures for all renters across the province.
