Community Week is an annual week-long series of events held in communities province-wide.

These events aim to provide education on dementia-related topics, Alzheimer Society programs and services and other community resources to help individuals on their

<h3>Join us in Amherst on September 22, 2025 to learn more about dementia and the importance of community connections.</h3>This event will include presentations from people in your community to learn more about living well with dementia and local resources available to help. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m. to browse tables of community resources with presentations beginning at 2:00 p.m. Speakers:<ul><li>Donna Lawrence - Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia</li><li>Staff Member from the Seniors Clinic</li><li>Behaviour Resource Consultant with NS Health</li></ul> Community Week is an annual week-long series of events held in communities province-wide.These events aim to provide education on dementia-related topics, Alzheimer Society programs and services and other community resources to help individuals on their dementia journey.This event is offered free of charge, but pre-registration is encouraged. Ticketing is just for us to know the number of attendees to expect! No need to bring a copy of your ticket to the event with you.
