Where can you rent an instrument, take a class in Python and join a discussion on digital inequities? The Toronto Public Library is more than a network of local branches to borrow books. Over the course of the pandemic, public libraries have moved into uncharted territory to support their communities, launching programs and partnerships that may have seemed unlikely before COVID-19. Libraries have become a community resource, embracing new ideas and initiatives to better serve their residents. In this free webinar, Fiona O’Connor will be discussing the library&#x27;s role in bridging the digital divide, the design of TPL’s current programs and initiatives and the role libraries can play in civic tech initiatives. Join us June 23 at 12 p.m. ET to learn more about how TPL is providing residents with access to the tools and skills to navigate the digital age. About the speaker:Fiona O&#x27;Connor is the Senior Services Specialist in Digital Literacy Initiatives at the Toronto Public Library.
