Anishnabek Legal Principles  Lunch &amp; Learn Presented by Myeengun Henry &amp; Luane Roberts

In partnership with Conestoga College Be-Dah-Bin Gamik (Aboriginal Services) and Ahwenehaode, we are pleased to offer Anishnabek Legal Principles - our lunch and learn workshop on June 30th at 12pm. This workshop will introduce the Anishnabek understanding of justice and law and its application to the work being done in our communities.
Myeengun Henry is the Manager of Aboriginal Services at Conestoga College and former Chief of his community, Chippewa of the Thames. He is an Indigenous advisor at the Law Society of Ontario, to the Ontario Provincial Police and at the Waterloo Crime Prevention Council.
Lu Roberts is a member of Sandy Lake First Nation and grew up in Treaty 3 Territory in Northern Ontario before settling on Block 2 of the Halidmand Tract and what is now known as Kitchener, ON. She is the Indigenous Justice Coordinator at Waterloo Region Community Legal Services where she provides support services to Indigenous People in the Waterloo Region.
