What makes a great story? Ripple Foundation presents a writing workshop guaranteed to spark imaginations. For ages 10-14+.

<h3>About the event</h3><p><strong>Details! Details!</strong> - The purpose of this workshop is to show participants how descriptive details enhance stories and engage readers through elements that stimulate the senses and add interest.</p><p>CC – This event will be close captioned by CHS Services. </p>

<h3>About the facilitators</h3><p><strong>Revti Mehra</strong> is an incredibly approachable facilitator due to her experience working with children and a passion for teaching.</p><p><strong>Stacey Moffat</strong> is a lifelong learner and has experience as an ESL instructor and tutor. </p><p><strong>Alexandra Chelse </strong>is a writer, storyteller facilitator, and dreamer based in Brampton, Ontario. Some of her brightest childhood moments revolved around stories. If she wasn’t reading one, she was writing one. As an avid storyteller and facilitator, Alexandra is keen on sharing about the beauty of storytelling and the amazing way it can bring communities closer together, build legacies and ultimately change lives. </p>

<h3>About The Word On The Street Toronto</h3><p>The Word On The Street is an annual celebration of storytelling, ideas and imagination, hosting Canada's largest FREE book and magazine festival each September and promoting great books by Canadian and Indigenous authors year-round.</p>
