Welcome Back BBQ at The Mount

The Experiential Education Department at UPEI helps students build bridges between their university learning and the world of work. Our office offers numerous free workshops and events to help UPEI students develop a range of personal and professional skills. We also support students through coordinating experiential learning opportunities, enabling students to apply what they are learning in the classroom in real world contexts while expanding their growth.

The Mount Continuing Care Community

The Mount Continuing Care Community is hosting a Welcome Back BBQ for UPEI students on September 11th from 11:30AM - 1:30PM.The event will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the volunteer opportunities at The Mount. You'll be able to socialize with residents, pick up volunteer materials, and meet other students to form new connections. Staff will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.There will be hotdogs, hamburgers, and drinks. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available for those who indicate it when registering.The Mount is located very close to UPEI at 141 Mount Edward Road. There is a trail that connects the UPEI Campus and the Mount. There will be a group walking over from campus at 11:20 AM. If you'd like to walk over with the group please meet at the Career Studio, room 209 Dalton Hall on campus. Otherwise, you are welcome to drop-in @ the Mount anytime between 11:30AM-1:30PM.If you have any questions, please contact Community and Industry Outreach Coordinator Jess Cameron at jecameron@upei.ca.Register by Monday, September 8th at noon.
