<h3>Beyond Default: Architectural Specificity in Generative AI</h3> As generative AI becomes standard practice, the critical challenge shifts from application to authorship. This talk first reviews state-of-the-art tools across visual, 3D, and BIM domains, then demonstrates experimental methods to move beyond their generic outputs.We will explore how to fine-tune models with curated data to create bespoke AI workflows imbued with specific architectural intelligence, showcasing recent project outcomes from UBC students.

Her work focuses on applying artificial intelligence to generative design and developing novel data-driven workflows for practice. Through her consultancy, she collaborates with design firms to integrate and customize AI tools for real-world architectural and landscape projects. She previously worked with Stoss Landscape Urbanism and the New York City Department of City Planning.
