Do I have to be a BBSA member to attend?

This event is open to all YorkU students, whether you're a BBSA member or not. If you're interested in joining afterward, we’ll have info on how to get involved, but membership is not required to attend this event.

What is the dress code for this event?

We recommend business casual attire to make a great first impression.

What if I  want to become a BBSA member?

We will have a link in our Instagram for you to sign up and we would also share the link as well in our first event as well as these event in case you missed your chance.

Will there be networking opportunities?

Yes! There will be a built-in networking segment with students, BBSA execs, and professionals from TD, CPA Ontario, Onyx Initiative, and more. It’s a great chance to connect, ask questions, and leave inspired

Can I attend if I’m not a first-year student?

While we’re especially welcoming first-years, the content is valuable to any student looking to grow their network, refine their career direction, or connect with Black professionals and peers on campus
