What is Timeout?

Timeout was founded by parents of young children who understand how desperately parents could use some time out. Timeout events are designed to promote connection and community for children, while giving parents time to recharge and reconnect.

What kinds of activities will the children participate in?

Every Timeout event is different, but children can expect to engage in a variety of activities, including group games, STEM activities, and arts and crafts.

What does my child need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Children should arrive in comfortable clothes and shoes suitable for participating in activities in a gymnasium. Each child should have a water bottle, clearly labeled. Pizza will be served. However, children may eat beforehand or bring their own nut-free snacks, if they prefer.

Can I pick up my child early?

Yes! Whichever parent or guardian you have authorized can pick up your child anytime before we close at 8:00pm.

Who can pick up my child?

Accepted Answer

Only the parent or guardian identified as the authorized pick-up person at registration may pick up your child. Please be prepared to show government-issued photo identification.

What age is this program suitable for?

Accepted Answer

Children of all ages are welcome, but our activities primarily target children ages 3 to 7. Please note that we do not have sleeping facilities, so participating children must be able to play for the duration of their stay. Please inform us if your child is not potty trained.

Who will be looking after my child?

The Timeout team consists of experienced caregivers, including early childhood educators, professional nannies, and babysitters.

How do I register my child?

Click the "Get Tickets" button. Be sure to provide the information of each child being registered. Don't forget to submit your waiver!
