What can I do to prepare them? </p><p>Educational consultant and reading specialist Miss Mary, of Accelerated Potential Academy will answer all of your questions in this workshop on, How to Prepare Your Child for Kindergarten. Having taught Kindergarten for 14 years and now helping teachers, homeschoolers and parents to provide educational programs for Kindergarten and Grade school classrooms, she has a wealth of knowledge and experience that will set your child up for success in a nurturing and caring way that recognizes their individual needs, strengths and weaknesses.  Having a positive experience in these early years of school is crucial and Mary will show you exactly how you can prepare your child for a successful entry, plan for the school year and reduce the anxiety and stress that comes with Kindergarten. Specific topics to cover include; social skills, reading, mathematic skills, printing, emotional regulation, different programs and review different assessments. You will learn how to prepare your child and get some tools that will ensure you can plan a successful year ahead!</p>
