Arts Council Wood Buffalo and Friends of SECPA are co-hosting two workshops as a part of Alberta Culture Days.

Suncor Energy Centre for the Performing Arts

<p>Hosted by Raili Boe, this workshop will introduce you to the basics of set design for theatre. Participants will learn the fundamental elements of set design and staging vocabulary in an entertaining and participatory way. They will learn about the general design process from reading a script, signing the contract, reviewing preliminary designs with the director, and then creating and turning in their final draft. Participants will be invited to put what they learn to use in a hands-on opportunity to be a part of creating this year&#x27;s Wood Buffalo Excellence in Arts Awards broadcast on September 17, 2021. </p>
