This 2 day course addresses how our reading and writing skills are directly related to the integration of specific primitive reflexes. Reformulated together with the most prominent optometrists in Spain, Dr. Harald Blomberg brought us an innovative vision of rhythmic movements accompanied with specific visual exercises.During this 16 hour course, participants will:<ul><li>Learn to observe and evaluate visual disorders</li><li>Understand how reading and writing challenges may be due to retained or unintegrated primitive reflexes</li><li>Discover how a movement challenge is related to a vision challenge</li><li>Examine theories about the causes of dyslexia</li><li>Explore valuable exercises and technique to integrate primitive reflexes and improve reading and writing skills</li></ul>Learn how to test for the following primitive reflexes:<ul><li>Asymmetric Tonic Neck Reflex (ATNR)</li><li>Palmar/Babkin Reflex</li><li>Plantar Reflex</li><li>Rooting Reflex</li><li>Hand Grasp and Hand Pulling Reflex</li><li>Tonic Labyrinthine Reflex (TLR)</li><li>Symmetrical Tonic Neck Reflex (STNR)</li><li>Fear Paralysis</li><li>Moro Reflex</li></ul>This course held in Mississauga and involves a combination of theory and practice.Previous experience: BRMT Level 1 (highly recommend BRMT level 2)Course location: Mississauga, OntarioCourse instructor: Lori WestlakeCourse dates &amp; times: Nov 29 &amp; 30, 2025 9:00am – 5:00pmCost:Early bird – must register by Oct 25, 2025Regular Price — $495.00Review Price — $275.00 *proof of certificate in BRMT training requiredRegistration closes Nov 19, 2025$100 non-refundable deposit is required.Two registration options: Eventbrite or Contact Lori at lori.westlake@skyhighlearning.ca to register and pay by e-transfer Class refund policyA full refund will be provided if participant cancels prior to 14 days before the start of a course, minus a 5% processing fee. If a participant cancels between 8-13 days before the start of the class, they will forfeit their $100 deposit. Their remaining balance can be put towards a future class or be refunded. Any cancellations made within 7 days of the start of a course are non-refundable, but tuition may be put towards a future class on a case-by-case basis at the instructor’s discretion.This course is offered in conjunction with BRMT Canada and requires a minimum of 4 participants.
